“Kuwait supports Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity and peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,” said Chairman of Kuwait-Azerbaijan working group on interparliamentary relations of Kuwait National Assembly Khalid Al-Utaybi as he met with members of Azerbaijan-Kuwait working group on interparliamentary relations of Milli Majlis.

Utaybi commended Azerbaijan for supporting Kuwait`s stance in international organizations. He noted that Azerbaijan and Kuwait are bound together by ties of history and culture. He welcomed the development of bilateral relations in the fields of politics, economy and culture.

Head of Azerbaijan-Kuwait working group on interparliamentary relations Huseynbala Miralamov described the relations between the two countries as friendly.

Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on labor and social policy Hadi Rajabli spoke of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. He said that 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands were occupied by Armenia and more than one million people became refugees and IDPs.
